College Recruiting 101 You are Your Own Best Advocate
At the beginning of the season Coach Torres spoke to the team about soccer after High School. Last year's GU19 Black team graduated two girls into the college ranks (and a third could have easily made the move to the next level except for knee surgery). Playing for a low profile hometown club like FC Heat does not garner a lot of attention and looks from college scouts, so it is up to you to change that. Self promotion is the best tool to get the attention you deserve. Coach Torres would like to share the following website below as a primer on the self promotion process.
